It is 8th June and we can finally say that summer is here! Usually, hot temperatures do not stay in Switzerland for too long, so do not miss your opportunity and explore the variety of summer activities in Luzern!
When we talk about summer, the first thing that comes to our minds is swimming. We all know a perfect lake beach located not far from the IMI campus which is loved by our students, but Luzern also offers a big number of swimming facilities. One of the biggest designed areas for sunbathing and swimming is called Lido and is located right by the Transport Museum. The entrance fee is CHF 7 and do not forget to bring your towel!

On sunny days, you can go for a hike and enjoy the nature in the Hirschpark. This park is a famous attraction as it has different animals and most importantly deer that are walking freely on the trails joining the visitors. It is located not far from the main Luzern Hospital and can be reached by bus from the train station, that will take no more than 15 mins.
